Charles P. Leo

Charles P. Leo, Ph.D. has over 25 years of executive-level management experience in the areas of Human Resources; Employment Law; Strategic Planning; and Organizational Development. In addition to his extensive business background, for over 25 years he has simultaneously served as an Adjunct Professor at the Graziadio School of Business & Management at Pepperdine University. He is currently a full-time practitioner faculty member in the Dept. of Applied Behavioral Science. Dr. Leo has had significant consulting assignments advising more than 250 organizations throughout the country in both the private and public sectors. The vast majority of those consulting assignments were multi-year engagements.

He received his B.S. Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley; his MBA Degree with an emphasis in Labor Economics and Human Resources Management at UCLA; and earned his Ph.D. Degree in Organizational Psychology also from the University of California at Los Angeles. A partial listing of Dr. Leo’s clients have included: Bank of America; Union Bank; Zenith Insurance Company; Warner Bros. Studios; Paramount Pictures; City of Orange; City of Santa Barbara; Toyota Motor Company; TRW; UCLA; the California Dept. of Transportation; and the U.S. Social Security Administration. He has also done extensive consulting with family-owned businesses.

Dr. Leo is a member of PIHRA (Professionals in Human Resources Association); the APA (American Psychological Association); and the CPA (California Psychological Association). He has had numerous articles published in both academic and professional journals and been a seminar presenter and panelist at several professional conferences.
